While All Saints’ Day indeed points toward every saint, even those with their own days of memorial in the calendar, in a special way it is for the many more known only to God to be already enjoying heavenly bliss. These “splendid nobodies,” as Elizabeth Johnson has termed them, can thus give hope and joy to us on the way.6 This question is a good example
